ADS X-Lock
The ADS X-Lock is a next-generation electro-mechanical aerial delivery lock system engineered for cargo restraint and release. Originally developed for the A400M aircraft, the X-Lock replaces traditional logistic locks by combining restraint and delivery functions in one unit. Installed along both sides of the main deck, these locks interface directly with aircraft guide rails that pivot from a stowed to a deployed position for mission readiness.
Each lock is equipped with an electric linear actuator and real-time status monitoring through proximity sensors. The system supports both manual and automated operation with minimal crew intervention.
