The Ball Mat Assembly provides omnidirectional cargo movement during aircraft ground operations, allowing pallets and unit load devices (ULDs) to be efficiently moved onto and off the aircraft and repositioned across the cargo deck. By combining linear and multi-directional cargo movement capabilities, the system supports flexible and efficient ground cargo handling.
