The NIM Kit is a bracket used to attach the NIM, part of the Controls System, to the Aircraft. The bracket is bolted to the airframe, while the NIM is screwed into the crossbeams. This allows the NIM to be suspended between frames. It has slots and grooves allowing for the NIM position to be adjusted during installation. This allows it to be installed in an optimal position to alleviate tension on the NIM-to-DrainPan cable assembly.
