USCS RAILCAR TECHNOLOGY DESIGN

    • Semi-powered system installed direct to floor for optimal carriage and restraint of unitized loads
    • AC-powered Power Drive Units (PDUs) strategically placed to facilitate
    • Load/Unload to and from rail car | Load transfer forward and aft
    • 2.00” roll plane height (distance from floor to top of roller)
    • High density conveyance elements at 4” pitch for low rolling friction for ease of operation
    • SS Ball Units in doorway area for transfer on/off railcar
    • Close cadence roller assemblies fwd/aft of doorway area
    • Heavy-duty attenuated guides installed fwd/aft of loading area for alignment of Racks during load and unload operations
    • Foot operable locks in center of rail car providing longitudinal restraint of all Racks
    • Wall mounted restraints installed at proper height on both sidewalls for ergonomic use to maintain rack position during transit
    • Doorway restraints at both sides prevents damage to railcar side doors

    • Two-level welded Steel Cargo Racks designed for 7,950 lbs and 11,900 lbs cargo capacity ea. (Custom sizes adn dimensions are available)
    • 60′ Closed Boxcar contains Qty. 16 Racks
    • 72′ Plate F Reefer Boxcar contains Qty. 20 Racks
    • Rack design includes integrated vertical guidance rollers on each side to maintain concentric position within rail car
    • Designed for wireless controlled Power Drive Units (PDUs) in Cargo Loading System and on Loading Table.

    • 17′ X 7′ Steel Load Table provides interface to Rail Car for load / unload operations
    • Standard equipment includes PDUs / Roller Trays / Guidance & Alignment components as well as Safety Rails
    • Table has rugged industrial casters for ease of transport and has height adjustment of 15″
    • Electrical powered System Control Cart provides wireless control for PUD operation for both Load Table adn Rail Car CHS
