Executive Bios

Tony Hill / President

Tony joined US Cargos Systems in April of 2023. He brings 25 years of Operational experience in the aerospace and automotive industry. Before joining US Cargo Systems, Tony was the VP of Operations at Pexco Aerospace and in various leadership roles with Stellantis (formerly known as Chrysler). He prides himself on a team that drives world-class performance, productivity, and customer focus.
Tony earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Harris Stowe State University and his MBA from Fontbonne University, both in St. Louis, Missouri. After joining Transdigm, Tony earned a Leadership Certification from the University of Southern California, Marshall School of Business.

Pamela D. Pearce PHR / Human Resources Director

Pamela is a certified Professional in Human Resources with over 20 years of HR experience in both corporate and manufacturing environments. Before joining US Cargo Systems in 2016, she served in leadership roles at Caterpillar, WakeMed Hospital, and Kabi Pharmacia. Her broad experience encompasses HR leadership, strategic planning, consulting, recruiting, learning and development, employee engagement, and compensation/benefit programs.

Pamela has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from N.C. Wesleyan and is an active Board Member for United Way of Wayne County.

Shawn Valtin / VP of Engineering and Quality

Shawn has been with US Cargo Systems since February 2012, starting as a Project Engineer and rising through the ranks to his current role as Vice President of Engineering and Quality. His experience covers a broad range of engineering disciplines, including design, manufacturing, testing, and project management. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from North Carolina State University and is currently advancing his education with a Master of Engineering at Colorado State University. His growth and commitment to engineering excellence are vital to the company’s success.

Shane Lockhart / VP of Finance

Shane joined the US Cargo Systems team in October 2023. He has 14 years of finance and operations experience in manufacturing companies. Before joining US Cargo, Shane was the Senior Director, Operations Controller for Enviva Biomass and served in various roles with Cornerstone Building Brands in finance and operations prior to that. Shane is a data driven leader who focuses on continuous improvement of processes.

Shane earned Bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Business Information Systems from West Virginia University. He has previously held the Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) designation from APICS as well as the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from IMA.

Houston Outing / VP of Sales and Marketing

Houston brings a wealth of experience in manufacturing, engineering, and business development to the US Cargo team. His most recent 25 years of commercial experience include increasing leadership roles in promoting and generating profits in the electric generation, industrial and recreational vehicles, commercial truck & bus, robotic automation, and the aerospace and defense industries.

Houston earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and his M.B.A degree from Duke University.
